I think this bends a little more towards the Sandlewood but has enough Aloes to bump it up to the next level. Sometimes you just need to use a woody scent like in the Fall but it's not smokey or sharp. The Aloes is not really apparent when you 1st light it but I like to put sticks like this in another room then walk into it to distinguish between the 2 woods. I only gave this 4 stars cause I was hoping for a touch more Aloes but other than that this is light pleasant non-intrusive burn.
