Nice but could be a bit less sweet. Been using it and other Nippon Kodo products for decades, most of them are quite good.

This incense is deeply woody and slightly sweet, like dry moss. It has a grassy scent that smells like a forest on a very hot day.

I LOVE this incense. It smells exactly like one my paternal Grandmother burned when I was little; it may even BE the one. It is the best Sandalwood I have ever used. It's sweet yet woody enough, unobtrusive, and just quietly THERE with you. I feel the best parts of being with Grandma when I light a stick. What a delight it is to have this specific scent back in my life!
