You do get a good hit of a mellow Aloeswood but not enough to rise to much over the base that claws back. Maybe a 20% more of the Aloes could push this into the premium line but for me I feel it is on the higher end of the midrange line. Still though it is a very good low cost intro into Aloeswood to see if it's appealing. Worth a try.

Smells the best among this collection.

wow, I seriously am not exagerating. I'm in love with this incense so much so that I may burn it all the first day of receiving it and not have anything left for my birthday for which this is my gift for myself and to share the scent with my guests! I see now why paying extra money for quality products in scents is so well worth it. I literally sense the energy from the extra efforts and ritualistic preparation that goes into these sticks and it makes the experience of the amazing kraya energy all the more potent and sacred for me. I have been super excited to try the experience of kraya aloeswood scent since I learned about it's special journey to readiness and the properties it embodies for our senses, and energetic environment. Quite honestly I have lit 3 sticks and it's been less than 3 hours. I think I'm hooked! haha Now I want to try the sticks with kraya aloeswood as the main ingredient. However, I'm in awe of the experience I'm having on all levels with such a reasonably priced preciously made product. I'm very very grateful for the $10 birthday gift Nippon Kodo gave me to further make this an extra special experience. Thank you, NK team. Love this aloeswood incense. It has a delicate fragrance with very little smoke. I really like the short sticks as they burn just long enough to infuse the room with the incense but do not overwhelm. They are perfect for the little ceramic incense holders.

From the very first time I tried this incense, I instantly loved it. It has a strong smell of agarwood, refined and luxurious that engages the senses and fulfills desire. I will be buying this incense again and again as it is a forever favorite.
